After a long dark ride on small highways from Woodstock to Connecticut, we started shooting at sunrise in the cool, damp morning. After lunch, while waiting for the high sun to lower, Amy took us all for a boat ride on the beautiful lake behind her restored 1800's home (part of which was a stable). We saw an eagle flying, learned about about lake sustainability, and after more time shooting in the echinacea and rudbeckia meadow, we watched the sunset over the lake while sipping sparkling rose.
